Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some frequently asked questions for new car buyers. If there is a question that you have and it is not listed here, please do not hesitate to contact us!
Question: Is this service really free?
Answer: Yes! It is free to post your listing to local dealers. There is no charge for listing on NewCarBids.com
Question: Will I have to provide a credit card or billing information?
Answer: No! Why would you? Our service is free!
Question: Will I receive non stop calls from dealers, or emails?
Answer: Absolutely not! We do not give out your information during a listing. The only time your contact information is released is when you select a dealer as the winner and request that they call you to confirm a time to come in, test drive, and finalize the deal.
Question: What can I expect to see on pricing?
Answer: So far, most of the deals that have passed through the system have been around invoice, and even some are below invoice.
Question: How can a dealer afford to offer the prices at or below cost?
Answer: Because what many car buyers do not know is that it actually costs the dealer money to house the car on their lot. Most dealers do not purchase each car from the manufacturer just to resell it. They actually rent the cars and sell based on consignment. If a car sits on the lot for too long, they are actually taking a loss. Therefore their goal is to move that car off of the lot. Plus if they sell to you at a good deal, they know you will be back with your friend and family.
Question: Am I required to purchase the vehicle at the end of the listing?
Answer: You are not required at all! However this service can only stay in business if buyers are serious about purchasing a new vehicle if the right deal comes along. Truth is, your are not going to find a better deal than what is offered by competing fleet managers. Their job is to move as many cars as possible. Add in the fact that they are competition with other dealers in real-time, it is a winner!
Question: How long has NewCarBids.com been in development?
